（7）有无连字符分析

① 12-year-old : 12岁的 + 名词

Eg: He is a 12-year-old boy. 他是一个12岁的男孩。

② 12 years old : 12岁

Eg: He is 12 years old. 他12岁了。

◇--I like apples. 我喜爱苹果。

--I do, too. = So do I = Me, too. 我也喜爱

◇--I don’t like apples. 我不喜爱苹果。

--I don’t, either. = Neither do I.= Me, neither. 我也不喜爱。

（9）时刻表达法

①顺读：6:15 six fifteen

②逆读：

◇（已过火钟数）+past+此不时刻点 “几点过几分”； 6:15 fifteen past six

◇（60-已过火钟数）+ to +下一个时刻点；“差几分到几点”；6:45 fifteen to six

Ps: 30分钟：thirteen; half 15分钟：fifteen; a quarter

Eg: --What time is it? 几点了？

--It’s a quarter to ten. 9:45了。

（10）如此...致使于...

① so+adj./adv. + that +语句 “如此...致使于...”

② such+a/an+adj.+可数名词奇数+that+语句 “如此...致使于...”

such+adj.+可数名词复数/不可以数名词+that+语句 “如此...致使于...”

③ too+adj./adv.+to+动词原形 “太...致使于不能...”

Eg:

◇ Tom runs so quickly that he wins the race. 汤姆跑得如此快致使于他赢得了竞赛。

◇ It is such a cute cat that I like it very much. 这只猫如此心爱致使于我非常喜爱它。

◇ Tom runs too slowly to win the race. 汤姆跑得如此慢致使于不能赢得竞赛。

（11）one of + 名词复数

Eg: He is one of the tallest students in our class. 他是咱们班上最高的学生之一。

（12）不定代词+adj.

(something, anything...)

Eg: I have something interesting to tell you. 我有些风趣的事要告诉你。

（13）问长相

--What does he look like? 他长啥样？

--He is tall. 他是高个子。

问性格

--What is he like? 别人怎么样？/他性格怎么样？

--He is outgoing. 他是外向的。

（14）选择疑问句，or, 选择其间一个答复

Eg: --Is Tom tall or short? 汤姆高仍是矮？

--He is short. 他是矮的。

或许He isn’t tall or short. He’s of medium height。 他不高不矮，中等身高。

（15）how词组

① How long “多长时刻”，答复时刻

② How far “多远”，答复间隔或时刻+东西

③ How soon “多久今后”，答复in+时刻段

Eg:

◇--How long does it take you to get to school? 你到学校要花多长时刻？

--It’s ten minutes. 10分钟。

◇--How far is it from your home to school? 从你家到学校有多远？

--It’s two kilometers. 两公里

或许 It’s ten minutes’ walk. 步行10分钟的间隔。

◇--How soon do you go to school? 你多久今后去学校？

--In ten hours. 10小时后
