短文粗心是：上个夏日，英国人杰克和他的兄弟鲍勃去德国旅行，因为风俗不一样而闹出令杰克很烧脑的作业。常常在他下榻的高旅馆吃晚饭时，一个德国人就用德语对杰克说：“祝您好食欲。”
而杰克误认为德国人报的是自个的名字，所以杰克也向对方报出自个的名字。杰克的驴友鲍勃懂德语。下次杰克吃饭时，用德语对德国人说祝您好食欲，德国人却用英语对杰克说：“杰克”。
